A new automotive show will be held for the first time in the UAE this month. ACEX (Ambassador Conferences and Exhibitions) has announced that the new show called the Amazing Auto Deals Exhibition (AADX) will be held from March 21 to 23, 2019 at Riverland Dubai in the heart of Dubai Parks and Resorts. The launch of yet another auto show in this region highlights the growing importance of Middle East market for the automotive sector. In an era when automotive technologies and design are changing at an incredibly fast pace, shows of this nature will help both consumers and participants from the industry to become aware about the latest trends and technologies. Another show that we are looking forward to this year is Automechanika 2019 which will be held in June and is billed as the world’s biggest trade fair for the automotive aftermarket. Shows like these are used by participants to showcase their new products and services and as a platform for networking The TechSci Research knowledge report that was published during Automechanika 2018 predicted that the Middle East and African auto aftermarket will grow annually by seven percent in the period upto 2022 with sales of auto parts and accessories amounting to an estimated figure of USD 31 billion in 2022. While vehicles sales may have slumped, the demand for the automotive services and aftermarket products has continued to be strong thanks to the already high vehicle parc and an expected improvement of car sales in the coming years. The UAE government has lauched several initiatives to promote the use of electric cars, to promote adherence to standards for tires and to minimize the sale of grey market and fake automotive parts. The automotive industry in the UAE is well on track to take its rightful position on the global scene and the advent of more automotive shows like these can further reinforce the attractiveness of the UAE market.Hamid MoarefPublisherPAGE 14Publishers Note :All images, designs, layout and advertisements are copyrighted.
